Business leader Jeff Donofrio says Michigan has made good progress since the recession of the late 2000s, but must make bold moves to strengthen its education, attract and retain workers, and draw more businesses to the state.
Donofrio, the president and CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan, spoke on the theme “What It Will Take for Michigan to Compete and Win” to more than 100 people gathered Monday afternoon at a Great Lakes Bay Economic Club luncheon at Saginaw Valley State University.
