Jeff leads Business Leaders for Michigan after having served as Director of the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO), in charge of coordinating and streamlining the state’s workforce and economic development programs to meet business and labor needs. Prior to LEO, Donofrio served as the Executive Director of Workforce Development for the City of Detroit and as an executive at Ford Motor Company.

Dawn Harding serves as Administrative Assistant for Administration, Communications, Government Affairs and Public Policy. She assists with special projects and provides administrative support to the Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and Vice President of Public Policy and Economic Development.

Chief Operating Officer
Sabrina Keeley is Chief Operating Officer for Business Leaders for Michigan. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization, overseeing the execution of the organization’s work plan, managing major events and Board member engagement.
Manager of Administration & Outreach
Courtney Masiarczyk, Manager of Administration & Outreach for Business Leaders for Michigan, is responsible for managing events and special projects. Courtney also assists with Board-related activities, outreach efforts and various day-to-day organizational functions.
Vice President, Public Policy & Economic Development
Jen Nelson is Vice President of Public Policy and Economic Development for Business Leaders for Michigan. She is responsible for managing policy efforts in the areas of K-12 education and economic and workforce development.
Amy Novak serves as the executive assistant for Business Leaders for Michigan. Amy provides support to the President & Chief Executive Officer and to the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this role, she was Special Assistant for Projects and Outreach, where she provided administrative support to the communications, government affairs, administrative and public policy staff.
Vice President, Government Affairs & Public Policy
Tim Sowton is Vice President, Government Affairs & Public Policy for Business Leaders for Michigan and is responsible for policy advocacy, policy development, and supporting the organization’s economic development efforts.
Doug Rothwell has worked as an executive in the public, private and non-profit sectors. For the past decade, he led Business Leaders for Michigan – the state’s business roundtable. He’s served four Governors, including as Delaware’s Chief of Staff, President of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and chair of Governor Rick Snyder’s transition team. In the business world, he managed General Motors’ 400 million square foot global real estate portfolio and was the CAO at Bank of America’s credit card subsidiary.
